Book Presentation:
Using interviews with Jerry Lewis and many of his co-stars, this book analyzes his collaborative efforts with Dean Martin, his subsequent solo work, his writing and directorial careers, and later movies such as Hardly Working (1979) and The King of Comedy (1982).

Comprehensive data are provided for each of the films, with cast and production credits, studio, release date, and running time. Lewis’s own reflections on his work are included for many of the entries.

About the authors:
James L. Neibaur is a film historian and scholar with more than 30 books and hundreds of articles appearing in Cineaste, Classic Images, Film Quarterly, Films in Review, Filmfax, and Encyclopædia Britannica.
Ted Okuda is a Chicago-based film historian whose articles have appeared in such publications as Nostalgia Digest, Filmfax, and Classic Images.

Press Reviews:
"indispensible…it’s so hard to put down I wonder how I ever got along without it"—Examiner.com; "the ultimate tribute"—The Intelligencer Record; "a superior tome"—Classic Images; "the best book ever written about Jerry Lewis’ movie work! Well-researched, smartly organized, and crisply written…essential"—Roctober; "valuable"—Video Eyeball.
