About the Author:
Jon Jory has an almost fifty-year theatre career as playwright, director, producer, teacher and theatre commentator. He founded the Long Wharf Theatre Company in Ne Haven, Connecticut. The Humana Festival of New Plays, was producing Direct of Actors Theatre of Louisville for many years, directed at almost every major regional company and in nine nations. He taught for a decade in the University of Washington Graduate Program in Acting and now teaches at The Santa Fe University of Art and Design. He is generally regarded as the countrys preeminent adapter of the novels of Jane Austen for the stage.
