About the Author:
Chris Fellner served as a writer and editor for more than thirty years, working on various medical publications. He has written scripts for James Warren’s illustrated horror magazines Creepy, Eerie, and Vampirella and the reboot The Creeps, as well as articles for Little Shoppe of Horrors, Monster Mania, and Scary Monsters.

Fellner worked as a medical writer and an editor for some 30 years and has published articles and screenplays in multiple horror magazines. The present book comprises 610 entries—all thorough—in addition to an introduction, four appendixes (three filmographies and a list of unproduced projects), and endnotes. Typical entries run from a short paragraph to a full page, though the entries for some films span multiple pages. Film entries are the longest; each includes information on cast and crew, a plot synopsis, brief notes on production, and quotes from reviewers. Cast and crew entries are brief biographies. The book is exhaustive in scope, and all entries are dense with historical data and interesting anecdotes. Clearly the result of meticulous research, this book will be useful to specialists and fans of the horror genre. Summing Up: Recommended. Researchers; general readers.
