Book Presentation:
A comprehensive guide that grows with your career from Production Coordinator to Production Manager, and from low budget to big budget. It is designed to be used every day open on the desk to mentor you through the production process on features and series from getting hired and hiring crew in prep to post and audit.

About the Author:
Deborah Patz has been a filmmaker on award-winning productions since the mid-1980s, primarily as a production manager and coordinator, and then as production executive with Lucasfilm, IMAX, MCA/Universal, Alliance/Atlantis, Nelvana, BBC, CBC, the Disney Channel, and the list goes on. She holds a BFA (Film) from York U, an MFA (Creative Writing) from UBC, an Entertainment Law certificate from Osgoode, and is a graduate of the CFC Producer’s program. She is a P.M. member of the DGC, and works days as a Business Affairs Analyst at funding agency Telefilm Canada. Her first book, Surviving Production (on coordination) was published by MWP in 1997, and was then incorporated into this, production management book, which was published in its first edition in 2002 and remains on sale around the world.
